Health Benefit Strategies, LLC (“HBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Utah limited liability company that helps self-funded and level-funded employers reduce health plan spend through virtual care benefits. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit gohbs.com (the “Site”), use our savings calculator, or contact us.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you use our savings calculator, request a report, schedule a call, or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name, company name, work email address, and phone number.
• Information you enter into the savings calculator, such as employee count, average health plan cost, and coverage mix.
• Anything you include in emails, calls, or scheduling forms.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics tools (currently Google Analytics) that collect standard usage data, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found the Site. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

3. How we use your information

• To generate and deliver your savings report and respond to your inquiries.
• To schedule and conduct discovery calls you request.
• To follow up with relevant information about our services. You can opt out of these communications at any time.
• To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. How we share information

We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as website hosting, email delivery, scheduling (Calendly), and analytics (Google Analytics). These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HBS or others.

5. A note about health information

This Site does not collect medical records or protected health information (PHI). The savings calculator asks only for general, plan-level cost figures — not any individual's health details. Virtual care services offered through HBS programs are delivered on separate HIPAA-secure platforms governed by their own privacy notices, which members receive at enrollment.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics to measure Site traffic and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 9).

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

• Opt out of emails. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe option, or you can email us directly.
• Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@gohbs.com.
• State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor verified requests consistent with applicable law, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (such as Calendly for scheduling). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page.
